Terms & Conditions
1. Deposits & Cancellations
A 30% deposit is required to schedule service.
Deposits are non-refundable once scheduled unless the project is delayed due to weather.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of scheduling may receive a refund upon request.
2. Payment Terms
All card payments are securely stored on file for billing convenience.
If payment is not received within 3 days of the due date, the card on file will be charged automatically.
If the card is declined:
A 10% late fee applies after 3 days.
A 15% late fee applies after 14 days.
A 20% late fee applies after 21 days.
After 30 days, unpaid balances will be sent to collections. The customer will be responsible for all associated costs, including legal and collection fees.
3. Recurring Services
Recurring services (e.g., maintenance memberships) are billed automatically on a yearly basis using the card on file.
Recurring services are paid upfront. If canceled before any work has begun, a 50% refund of the amount paid will be issued.
If the card on file is declined, services will be canceled immediately and no collections process will be pursued.
4. Guarantees
We provide a Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee — if we miss a spot and you notice it anytime, we’ll touch up the entire board free of charge.
If the oil-based stain fails or peels within one year, we will restain the affected areas for free.
Any work or alterations done by others after staining voids the guarantee.
5. Work Area & Accessibility
The work area must be fully accessible and cleared before our arrival.
If access is blocked (e.g., locked gates, pets, or obstructions), a $100 trip fee will apply and the job will be rescheduled.
6. Customer-Induced Damage or Delays
We are not responsible for damage caused by walking, moving furniture, or pets before full curing.
Rework required due to customer actions will incur a minimum service fee of $250.
7. Furniture Removal (Optional)
Upon request, we can remove and replace furniture after drying for an additional charge.
8. Weather Delays
Weather conditions (rain, humidity, etc.) may delay work.
Jobs will be rescheduled at the earliest available date, and deposits will not be refunded for weather-related delays.
9. Material Selection & Changes
The customer must approve the stain color before work begins.
Any color changes after staining has started will result in additional material and labor charges.
10. Pre-Existing Damage & Liability
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to wood, structure, or surrounding areas.
If structural issues are discovered, we’ll pause work and notify the customer. Repairs may be required at the customer’s expense before proceeding.
11. Changes to Terms
Staining Grain LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Clients will be notified of any updates. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. SMS Communications & Privacy
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Staining Grain LLC related to your project, scheduling, payments, maintenance reminders, and occasional promotions.
